Jarome Iginla scored the go-ahead goal and Miikka Kiprusoff made 23 saves Monday in the Calgary Flames' 3-1 victory over Nashville.
Iginla's power-play marker off a quick pass from Matt Stajan with 7 minutes left in the second period broke a 1-1 tie and the Flames went on to cool off the Predators, who had won 10 of 12 coming in.
Curtis Glencross and Brendan Morrison tallied for Calgary and Kiprusoff improved his season's record to 19-18, stopping all 11 Nashville shots in the final period.
David Legwand got the Preds' only goal and Pekka Rinne turned aside 24-of-27 shots.
